Ceramic Painting Workshop FAQ
What I am going to do in this workshop?
Please go through the process of creating a ceramic piece here. You are going to do step 7 i.e. painting. We are going to do steps 1–6 for you and give you a bisque-fired piece to paint. After the workshop we are going to do steps 8 to 10 to make your piece functional.
How much time it takes?
Painting workshop can take 3 hours. It can take more hours depending on you/your peers or any other unforeseeable circumstances. We recommend having some buffer after the workshop.
Can I or my friend join on the spot?
Yes, though we rarely have a spot open on the workshop day. We get fully booked days before the workshop. So it is always recommended to book as soon as possible. If we are booked, we'll be able to give you information about the next workshop and you can join that.
When will I get my piece back?
Please go through the process of creating a ceramic piece here. As the process requires many more steps—like glazing and glaze fire—after you’ve painted your piece, it takes almost half a month. We contact you once your piece is ready. You can pick it up from us or from the venue where it is organized. You can also book a delivery service like Dunzo, Swiggy Genie, Porter, etc. by yourself if you can’t come to collect it, and we can hand it over to them.
What's Included in the workshop?
Please go through the booking page of the workshop you booked or check your booking confirmation email to get more information about it.
Is cost of glazing included in the workshop registration?
Yes, the cost of transparent glazing of one piece is included with your workshop. The participant(s) who want to paint and glaze an additional piece apart from the one included in the workshop can do so by paying an additional cost.
What are charges of painting and glazing an additional piece?
We charge Rs 1000 for a cup or standard size piece if you would like to paint an additional piece apart from the one included in the workshop. The charge includes the bisque-fired piece on which you can paint, transparent glazing, and glaze fire. As we bring a limited number of additional pieces on the day of the workshop, we recommend you inform us in advance if you want to paint an additional piece.
